به گزارش خبرگزاری فارس از سمنان، زلزله‌ای به بزرگی 5/4 ریشتر در مقیاس
امواج درونی زمین ساعاتی قبل حوالی میامی، از توابع استان سمنان را لرزاند.
این زلزله در ساعت 9 و 54 دقیقه و 21 ثانیه به وقت محلی رخ داد.
مركز این زلزله در مختصات 54/36 شمالی و 52/55 شرقی و در عمق 10 متری زمین اعلام شده است.
این زمین‌لرزه در 19 كیلومتری میامی، 25 كیلومتری كلاته‌خیج، 47 كیلومتری بسطام و 382 كیلومتری تهران به وقوع پیوسته است.
شبكه لرزه‌نگاری سمنان وابسته به موسسه ژئوفیزیك دانشگاه تهران نیز وقوع این زلزله را تایید كرده است.
گزارشی از خسارات احتمالی این زمین‌لرزه در دست نیست.
